The "Sporta"

The SPORTA was the bag generally made in leather and hand-sewn at home by housewives with leftovers or LEATHER CUTS that were found around the TANNERIES.This was the bag with which they themselves went shopping, often on Saturdays ( market day), they were rigorously hung from the handlebars of the bicycle which thus turned into a sort of van.
